Every student, every voice @Leppington.P.S sharing in the celebrations of Education Week. This year’s theme is ‘Learning together’. On Tuesday K-Red celebrated Harmony Day. Students listened to a story about people from different countries and discussed the different cultures within Kindergarten classrooms. K-Red loved seeing some of their friends in their Traditional clothes and talking about the countries that their families are from. Check out K-Reds video message on your digital platforms.
In writing, students have been learning about spiders. Students went on an incursion around the school to find places where spiders might live. With the help of Mrs Carmichael, K-Red found two spiders having a snooze on their webs. Did you know spider webs are made from silk!
