At Leppington Public School, we use a clear and supportive learning approach that helps every student feel successful, confident and engaged in their learning. We teach the NSW curriculum and offer a wide range of learning experiences to support each student’s growth, interests and potential. We know that strong literacy and numeracy skills are the foundation for learning and everyday life, and our teachers use effective, evidence-informed teaching strategies to help students achieve success. Through explicit teaching, teachers clearly explain what students are learning, why it matters and how to achieve success step by step. Learning is inclusive, student-centred and designed to support all learning styles and needs, with a strong focus on wellbeing, equity and high expectations. Students engage in hands-on, real-world learning experiences, use technology to build future-ready skills, and connect with the wider community through excursions and local programs, while our teachers continue to strengthen their practice through ongoing professional learning.

What students learn
Students learn a wide range of subjects in the NSW curriculum. They build skills, think creatively and prepare for life beyond school.

Our current SRE classes available and the approved providers are:
- Islamic – Islamic Council of NSW

At our school, we give the right support to help gifted learners to grow and do their best.
We notice these students early. They may learn quickly or show strong skills in creativity, leadership, problem solving or sport. We help them stay challenged with lessons and activities that match their strengths.
