Kiss-and-ride zone procedures
Kiss-and-ride zones provide a designated area on the school side of the road for dropping off and collecting your children by car.
Please:
- drop your child off and pick them up on the school side of the road
- never call out to your child from your car - please head directly to the designated bollard
- always get your child in and out of the car on the footpath side (safety door)
Walking to school safely
Walking to and from school is a great way for children to stay healthy and active, it can also reduce the traffic around our school.
Key messages:
- all students who walk home must have a 'Walker's Pass'
- up until at least 8 years old, always hold your child’s hand when crossing the road, walking on the footpath, or in a car park
- up until at least 10 years old, supervise your child in the roadside environment
- Stop, Look, Listen, Think, every time you cross the road
- always use the pedestrian crossings, if possible
- use the safest place to cross the road.

Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
