Parent Voice and Connection Committee
The Parent Voice and Connection Committee has had a busy and successful start to the year, continuing to strengthen the partnership between home and school by creating meaningful opportunities for families to connect, engage and be involved in school life.
We had the successful launch of our Parent Café, providing a welcoming space for parents and carers to come together over a coffee, share ideas, build connections and access practical strategies to support their children's learning and wellbeing. Each session has focused on strengthening the home-school partnership while fostering a strong sense of community.
We are also proud to see our Fathering Project continue to grow. More fathers and father figures are accessing the Fathering Project Portal and making use of the valuable resources available to strengthen relationships and support positive engagement at home. The initiative continues to provide meaningful opportunities for father figures to become actively involved in their children's education and school experiences.
Looking ahead, Term 3 promises to be another exciting term for our school community. One of the highlights will be our Hamburgers and Handball Challenge, where students will be joined by their dads, grandfathers, uncles and other significant father figures for an afternoon of delicious food, friendly competition and quality time together. This event celebrates the important role that father figures play in children's lives while strengthening the connections within our school community.
