About our preschool
Leppington Public Preschool
A place to gather, learn and grow… early!
Opening Term 1, Day 1, 2027
Leppington Public School is proud to be part of the NSW Government’s 100 New Public Preschools Program, bringing fee-free, high-quality early learning to our community. Our purpose-built preschool will offer a warm, play-rich environment where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn.
At Leppington Public Preschool, children will explore, ask questions and learn through play. Our program is designed to spark curiosity, foster confidence and nurture every child’s love of learning.
Children will engage in thoughtfully designed, play-based experiences led by qualified early childhood educators, building the foundational skills needed for a strong start to Kindergarten and beyond.
Our public preschool will be an approved early childhood education and care service operating under the National Quality Framework.

Leppington Public Preschool is one of the 100 new public preschools being built across NSW by 2027.
This initiative will:

- support stronger transitions from early childhood education into primary school
- improve long-term academic, social and wellbeing outcomes for children
- provide modern, purpose-built early learning environments connected directly to public schools
The first of the 100 preschools opened at Gulyangarri Public School in Term 4, 2024, giving local families greater access to quality early childhood education. We are excited to bring the same opportunity to the Leppington community.
